Our community received a major set back yesterday with the announcement by the state senate of the new redistricting lines. Robertson County will no longer be part of the 18th district but will be part of the 25th,which includes Cheatham,Dickson,Humphreys,and Lewis counties.

Senator Kerry Roberts who has served us so well,will lose his seat. Robertson County has not had a state senator in 50 years. Moreover it pulls us away from our core economic partners,i.e. the "ring" counties around Davidson.

TODAY the Joint Economic Community Development Board will discuss what our communities response should be to this, I welcome your participation.
