A message from our Chairman Dr. Arlin Smith ...

A BIG THANK YOU ... to all our volunteers and candidates who helped out at our outreach booth at the Kilgore Festival on Friday and Saturday! We had the busiest booth, met so many amazing people, and had a great time inviting people to join the party! 

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND ... Originally called Decoration Day, from the early tradition of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths and flags, Memorial Day is a day for remembrance of those who have died in service to our country.  Please take some time to show your support for these true American heroes. Please also remember that the month of May is National Military Appreciation Month. Our county will have the following events Memorial Weekend: Friday, May 27 (National Poppy Day): The Auxiliary will hold their annual drive through poppy fundraiser at American Legion Post 45 in Greenbrier. Saturday, May 28 VFW will be at multiple locations, such as Tractor Supply in Springfield serving hotdogs and collecting donations for veterans' assistance. Monday, May 30, 9 A.M. American Legion Post 45 will hold a Memorial Day Program at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier. 

FIRST SATURDAY PATRIOT POTLUCK GATHERING ...Our next Patriot Potluck Breakfast Gathering will be Saturday, June 4, 8:30 A.M. at Purpose Life Church, 805 Memorial Blvd., Springfield, TN. Thank you to our Republican Nominee for Mayor Joshua Evans for an informative and inspiring presentation at our last meeting! Countywide candidates who are running as Republicans on the August ballot are invited to speak briefly on June 4. At our July 2 meeting we will hear from all of our district candidates such as County Commissioner candidates and school board candidates running as Republicans. 
SUMMER INTERNSHIPS ... Anyone 18 or over is welcome to take part in our 2022 Summer Internship Program. We asks that you attend one of the two orientations: Saturday, June 11 from 10 am to noon, or Thursday, June 9, 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. To sign up text name and email address to 714.925.2689.
If you haven't watched the documentary "2000 Mules" yet I highly recommend you do so. What an exciting time to be on the right side as we gear up for the August 4 Election!
